As you all know, I fell off a treadmill last week. And my burns have healed very well and the scars will be a story to tell. But just know that before I tell you what happened today, I have always gotten hurt since I was a kid. Falling off cement bricks, falling off the ledge in the garage, tripping over speed humps, whatever there is to do, I've done it.
I was in Volleyball on the back row running forward to get the ball and Wha-BAM! I popped my RIGHT knee out of place and couldn't really walk. So I went out and talked to the instructor and he filled out an injury report. He got me some ice after begging to get some so many times. But when I first went up to him I had no idea what was going on. I couldn't think and I was sweating and I almost passed out!! I went up to the health center and found out I have a sprained knee. Which is EXACTLY what happened to my left one in seventh grade. He said this is a first or second degree sprain which means I've stretched my ligament slightly or kind of torn it. Sprains will heal but in order for your knee to heal completely and give you the best satisfaction he recommended doing leg lifts until you can 100 on each leg each day. I'll try doing that starting MONDAY. Right now I'm icing it, wearing my fancy new brace, and moaning in pain.
