Things that come in Pairs

While I've been studying for Chemistry I've noticed how many things come in pairs. There are SO many things. First off, Protons and Electrons.... Oxidation and Reduction... and so on and so forth.

But the amazing thing is out of all of these pairs they SHARE with each other. I think that is so applicable in life. A husband and a wife are opposites (because opposites attract right?) but they share the burdens of life together. When money problems hit, or when the kids are being rowdy or rebellious, or when the car breaks down on the side of the road they help each other. Almost all of the elements in life require sharing, they require someone else to help ease the burden.

The prime example of sharing would be our relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Through the Atonement, Christ takes upon our burdens, all of the burdens of mankind, and carries them upon his back. We are equally yoked together. I know that when I sin, or when I do something that isn't quite right, Christ is there to carry my burden and allow me to repent so that I can become clean again. Out of all of the pairs I can think of, I want my relationship with Deity and Christ to be my frontal and foremost.

Isn't it neat how the gospel is interwoven through every subject!?
