Considerations

Earlier today I was thinking about my Major and what route I want to take with my education.
I love learning and I love school, I would be content with going to school forever, hence the reason I want to go into a teaching career. I think that teaching others is a humbling career. You learn so much from other people and High School is a turning point in the lives of young adults. I loved my high school experience. I want to help students see that learning (especially Biology) can be interesting. Having a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ helps me to see Biology and Science in a different perspective. The way DNA fits together, the way organisms reproduce and genes combine is astounding. Every little cell has a purpose and "calling" so to say. I don't necessarily want to bear my testimony every day to students, but I do want them to see something different in the way I will teach. It's not just about lecturing, but getting to know students on a personal level as well.
I am contemplating/half decided that I want to get a Minor in Business Management. I don't know why this field. For some reason, it just seems like I will be challenging myself and it will get me ahead in this competitive world. Plus, it will help me with finances, and when I have to buy a home, paying taxes, all of that jazz.
Then for my Masters, if I get to do this.... I want to major in Behavioral Psychology or Counseling because I do want to be a High School Counselor at some point in my life.

I have a lot of plans, a lot of goals and I don't know where I will get with them. But this is it, and if Heavenly Father wants me to do these things and He accepts my plan, so be it. I'll do it and I'll go wherever he wants me to go, and do whatever he wants me to do.
