This week is Homecoming week!
Tonight me and Steph hiked and lit the Y. Let me tell you, it was a hike! Even though it wasn't the same trail or hiking conditions the pioneers went on it made me appreciate them so much. Those women must have had extreme courage and zeal to be able to go through all the things they had to go through. I was only on the first bit of the trail and I was already about to give out. I was breathing hard, and my legs were hurting! I know, I'm a wimp.
And then, Mom calls and I'm out of breath. She says, "What are you doing?" .. " (Out of breath voice) I'm ... Hiking.... (gasping) the Y!" .. " Oh you are?" .. "Yes, It's So Hard." And here's the best part... While me and Steph are killing ourselves trudging up this mountain Mom is on the other end of the phone ... " AH HAHAHAHAHAH!" Laughing? Can you believe that, Laughing?
My Mom is crazy, but you have to love her. Let her get up this mountain, we'd have to take her on a four wheeler, she wouldn't do it.
Speaking of overcoming the obstacle of reaching the Y, a burden has been lifted! I withdrew from Chemistry yesterday. The class was just too much for me to handle right now. I will take it another time this year. And the good part about working for the Chemistry department is that I get good tips from other people about what classes to take and from who. Speaking of work I got two free shirts and some free grapes from my boss's neighbor's grape vines. They were tasty.
But now a small burden has been put on my shoulders. I have to pay back some of the money I got from Financial Aid because I dropped out of the class. But I can do it!
Well I'll write again soon..
Holla!
