How I feel

About the STATE of the UNION address.

Very brief. I was not able to listen to the whole speech focused because I was distracted by the comments about Innovations. President Obama talked about new gadgets that would allow patients to communicate face to face with their doctors and individuals to connect across the globe.
I think technology is something our country thrives on and we don't progress in certain areas without it. BUT I do NOT agree that we need these little tools to let us see a doctor face to face. Is that really necessary? Why can't I just go down to the doctor and see one face to face rather than video calling him up? What's wrong with e-mail? Skype? Texting? Phone calls? and letters? Spending that much money on new inventions isn't necessary, especially when our country is already in debt. But President Obama said if we were to take out innovation in our society it would be like taking the engine out of the plane. Hm... I kind of think I disagree.
Passion is present in hand written letters, it shows that you took the time to sit down and write your thoughts. I love it.
But the form of communication I love the most is prayer. It's free, I can pray any time I want to, for however long I want to and incur no charges and receive true answers that can be found no where else. It's a beautiful thing.
