My gift to those of you who read this blog is my testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ.
I know that He lives and loves each one of us. I know that he came to this Earth as a baby born to the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem. I know that He grew up as a child the way we all mature during life. I look to Jesus Christ as my Exemplar. Never was a foul word spoken from His mouth, never was a stranger turned away. Christ went about doing good and walked in the ways of truth.
I fail to express my gratitude for my Savior as often as I should. I take the time to look at the trees and the sky, the mountains, but I don't take the time to look at my life. Jesus Christ has made me who I am today. It is through the example of Jesus Christ and the testimony which I have in Him that causes me to act the way I do. This mortal life is not easy. It is full of trials, tribulations, temptations, and heartache. However, because of the Atonement of Christ we always have a partner to share our burdens with. Christ tells us to drop our burdens at His feet. That is one of the greatest things he could have done for us. There is a greater gift that He has given us and that is the gift of Eternal Life. The Atonement allows us to return to the presence of our Heavenly Father and gives us the opportunity to dwell forever in His presence.
I want you to know that I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, more than words can imagine. He has done so much for me and I know that he knows me by name. He knows exactly what we are going through at the exact moment we are going through it. He loves us with a perfect love and is mindful of our circumstances. His name is to be praised, honored, and revered. I am committed to being a better disciple of Jesus Christ and following in His footsteps. I know that He lives and that he loves us and this is my gift that I share with you, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
