I hate seeing starvation in Africa. And please do not judge me and say that there is starvation all over the world, why did you pick Africa? Because I do know that there is Starvation all over the world and definitely within in the United States. I am partial to these people and I do not know why. It might be their humility and their hard work ethic. It might be their loyalty to their families and to God. It might be the joy they find in music and dance. I do not know. But when I see children and adults that live in this situation, my heart aches for them. I want to help them, but I know that I could only help one person's life or a family at the most. Starvation is a country and community wide epidemic. It takes the life from an individual no matter how hard he tries to survive. Older siblings consume less food or go without eating at all so they can feed their younger brothers and sisters. That is one of the most Christlike things I can think of. But these faces call to me. And I think of children in Africa everyday, honestly.
