Toilet Overflow at 1:30 AM

Okay, so this is not graphic, just irritating so don't worry.
I flush the toilet and you know when it just keeps going up and up and doesn't stop?
Well it did that, but it stopped. I said a silent prayer in my heart. So as the water receded, I decided to flush it again to see if the little scrubber thing I used had loosened the water up some. It did NOT!
I flushed the toilet and there it went, over the rim, bubbling, and dripping and falling on the ground. I wasn't going to use my newly washed towels for this water, so I grabbed some dish towels and threw them around the toilet. I left the door open with the light on so no one will go in there. It's a shame it happened so late at night, only I know about it. Someone else might sit on an overflowing toilet.
At least I'm wo"MAN" enough to deal with it.
