Well, yesterday was Thanksgiving as we all know. Again, I find myself in Provo but I'm glad that I have good friends that take me in and let me eat with them and just, be Thankful!
I didn't really blog about anything that I'm thankful for so I'll make this blog entry geared toward that.
I am thankful for:
- My parents
- My amazing family
- The gospel of Jesus Christ
- Brigham Young University
- Our Prophet, President Monson
- My mistakes in life that help me grow
- Service
- The Center for Service and Learning
- Great friends who expect the best of me
- Laughing
- The color yellow
- Nature (Forests, Flowers, the natural flora and fauna of the Earth :D )
- Biology
- Poetry
- Classic authors (Mark Twain, Jane Austen, Louisa May Alcott)
- Honesty
- Integrity
- Truth
- Virtue
- Light
- Determination
- Great Thinkers and Innovators
- Freedom
- Music
Of course, I am thankful for more things than the items that are on this list. I hope that we can all take the time to be more grateful and express appreciation to those that we love. As Lloyd K. Newell from Music and the Spoken Word said in a Special Speaker Series this month, "Let's not just celebrate Christmas, but let us live Christmas."
Here's to a great November and a Joyous December.
