From the Heart

So I decided I'll title all of my spiritual/Church themed blogs "From the Heart".

Today, was our Ward Conference and one of the counselors said something that really stuck out to me. He held up his cell phone and asked how many of us have cell phones. And of course, everyone has one. Then he asked if the first thing we do when we get home is sign onto our e-mail or our facebook or the internet. He then said, that if we do this, we forget to take time to listen and remember.

Listen and remember what? We forget to listen to the spirit and remember the Savior. We forget to listen to our families and remember our responsibilities. I've seen family members and friends give most of their time to technology instead of listening to their children and the Spirit. Imagine how the world would be and how our relationships with others would be if we took the time to remember our Savior. Then all other things would fall into place.
