Our church meets at 1:00 on Sundays. Not my first choice. I remember having to go to Church that late in Winchester Ward and by the time we got home it was time to go to bed. Okay-- not really but it felt like it.
Yesterday after Church I went over to a friend's and dropped off some music which led into me getting out my flute and trying to remember how to put my mouth on it. Well, I was a little rusty, but with a little more exposure I think I'll get back into the groove of it. Then some of us went to the Referral Center last night until about 8:30, then it was time for ward prayer. But since it is Thanksgiving in Canada, a girl from the ward had a bunch of pies and I walked right in and treated myself to those delicious desserts. Thanks Lurel and friends!
There was a little conflict yesterday, as I was "supposed" to sing in Sacrament Meeting that I did NOT know about until 10:45. I said that no one had called and talked to me and there was no way I could do it. The Bishopric cleared that right up and it will be next Sunday and I'm debating between Steven Kapp Perry's "Look Up" and the song, "The Power of God" from the From Cumorah's Hill Cantata. Thoughts anyone?
