For Pioneer Day on Friday I volunteered at the Pioneer Extravaganza at North Park.
I helped kids make clothespin dolls from 10am-2pm. Let's just say, I think I'm an expert now.
When I first came out to Utah it was a little weird having Pioneer Day as a holiday. I just remember having parades with the ward where I'd make my bike look fancy. But it's a huge deal out here!
After the event was over I ventured over to the Pioneer Village and took some pictures of the people and the buildings. They had a lot of vendors there selling food. I'm glad I didn't have my wallet! :)
