It's about time I headed back home.
Home to Alabama, or to other commonly used phrases:
-Bama
-The Dirty Dirty
-The Dirty South
Pick which you prefer but I still call it home. I haven't been home since January. I'm sure nothing's changed. It never does. It's the same old stuff every day of every week. No where to go but Wal-mart and Church. See that's what it's like back at home for kids. In high school me and my cousins never did anything because half of our friends were always up to no good. I for one didn't want to be involved in that crap. So we stayed at home and did homework or we worked. Now, I would prefer working over staying at home because it would just be so boring to sit there and do nothing. Nothing came on TV when you only had 6 channels. Disney movies, I already knew every line. Needless to say, I'm ready to head home and drive across that river bridge with the sun shining over the river and the rolling hills.. We don't have any monstorous mountains like out here in Utah. I know I'll miss Utah when I go home though, I always do. I'll wonder what the people in the ward are doing (see there we go again with the ward). This is my home now. It's almost weird to think there are people at home that I call family. Like I can't see them but I know they are there, even if we are just connected by a little phone line that transmits some kind of energy across the globe.
So on June 21, I'll be headed home. And I can't wait!

"Sweet Home Alabama" Lord I'm comin' home to you!!
"My Home's in Alabama no matter where I lay my head"
Stephen started putting this on his letters right before he came home from his mission. As much as he loved it, he loves his Sweet Home Alabama!
I thought about putting that as a name but it's just too common.. haha I guess I put up the phrases that Utah people say...
But yes, "Lord I'm comin home to you."
