Books to Read? I have a MILLION.

Ookay..

So for those of you who saw my earlier post about how I'm going to read books this Summer. You know how there were about 5 on the list? Add about 5 more.

Let me give you the update.

Here's my list:
Edgar Allan Poe
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe (I do not recommend, some things are a little.. you know.)
The Diary of Anne Frank
Catcher in the Rye
Where the Red Fern Grows
The Secret Garden
Night
Little Women
Jane Eyre
Wurthering Heights
Pride and Prejudice (yes, I will try to read it this time and enjoy it)- Jane Austen
The Count of Monte Cristo- Alexandre Dumas
The Giver- Lois Lowry
The Power of One -Bryce Courtenay
Angels and Demons- Dan Brown
Survival in Auschwitz- Primo Levi
Black and Blue- Anna Quindlen

KEY: GREEN=COMPLETED
YELLOW= IN THE PROCESS
RED= NEXT BOOK

Or let's just add about 10 more! Insane Right?

Now let me tell you how far I've gotten

I've completed 2 of the 17 books on this list and am currently in the process of finishing the 3rd not bad right? It didn't help that in the Daily Universe this morning they gave the top ten books suggested by teachers and students. So that added more to my list. I did read Edgar Allan Poe, some of this stuff and the sweetest poem called "Annabel Lee" go look it up. It's a good one. I did attempt to read some of his tales, but his poems are more my thing.
Fried Green Tomatoes is a Southern Classic. I love the movie, but some of the stuff in the books is a little risque. I wouldn't recommend it because of that, the story line is good though.
Now I'm reading The Secret Garden and some of these names, like Ben Weatherstaff and Dickon sound familiar. I have seen the movie before but I almost think I've read it. Maybe I have... I don't know.

I'll try to get as far as I can before Fall Semester kicks in, about late August. I've got plenty of time.
