So today me and my roommate Wendy took another walk to the temple. The idea was to first have a picnic but we decided that we would just go for a walk there and sit and talk. It was really good just getting to say some things and listen to each other's opinions.
I just love going to the temple. I have grown to love the walk just knowing the "hike" up Temple Hill is totally worth it when you get to the beautiful temple and can just sit there and relax and overlook Provo and have the mountains behind you.. It's a wonderful feeling. I think I want to go as many times as I can just to sit and meditate.
There is a scripture in 3rd Nephi I've been dwelling on lately. I don't know what it means but it just sticks out to me. I was reading my scriptures one night this week and I just stumbled across this verse that made me stop.
11 And I will rebuke the adevourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the fields, saith the Lord of Hosts.
I have no idea if this even pertains to me at this time, but the words " Neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the fields" really stick with me. If you have any insights as to what you think it means I would appreciate it. I know each of us will have different opinions and frankly the only one who knows the true meaning is the one who spoke it, our Savior Jesus Christ.
