Honestly!

Now that we know who the new President of the United States of America is, we should face the facts and continue living our lives.
My opinion on the matter, and remember this is my opinion, I have not been shocked at the results, neither am I torn at who has won the election. No matter who won, the world would still find something to complain about. We as human beings aren't ever satisfied, there is always going to be someone who disagrees with someone else, it's kind of hard to find common ground in this nation. I think it's horrible and wrong that people are lashing out or commenting in crude ways toward their fellowmen because they vote for Obama and feel that they are just voting because he is "black". That might have something to do with it, but even white people vote for Obama! So that proves that it isn't just skin color that matters. There is no reason for others to go around threatening to burn down crosses or to hurt someone else because of the way they voted. We are all given the right to vote and no one should punish you for the side you have taken.
I didn't get to vote because since I am out at school I registered on campus but I didn't get my voter's card in the mail and you have to know your polling place on the absentee ballot application so it was a no go for me. I would have voted but in the end I don't think my vote would have mattered.

In times like this and in the world we are in, I think we should try our best to find common ground. I feel this common ground is our Savior Jesus Christ. Through him hearts can be united and bonds can be formed. I know that he has perfect love and a perfect law. When he comes again to the Earth to rule and reign, he will reign justly and righteously. The government will be turned over to Him and we will live by His ways. No more will the adversary threaten us and peace will return to this Earth. I know this will happen, I testify that Christ will come to the Earth again as our Redeemer and with him he will bring 1,000 years of peace. I leave these things with you in the Sacred name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
