Well today has been a wonderful day, even though Today is the day after the today I am talking about, or in other words, today is tomorrow. We had Ward Conference today, which was really good. I loved the theme for the Conference which is found in Moroni 10:32-33. The atonement of Christ is so central to this gospel. It is the "hub of the gospel". I'm so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and for his love for each of us.
After Church I went over to a guy's house in the Ward to practice the song that I am singing next Sunday. It sounds really good and we are excited! :) Let's see then I was informed of Choir Practice at 3:15 but I could have sworn it was 3:30. Oh well, anyway, I went and we sang some songs. I need to get a hymn book though, I can't read that print that is as big as an ant's body.
After Choir, I came home and ate some fried eggs and mashed potatoes with Brown Gravy, sounds good don't it? Except I would have liked to have had a steak.
Then I went to sleep on the couch for about 30 minutes and there was a knock in the door, and it was my hometeachers/brothers coming to set up an appointment, which has been set for 6:30 next week. Then I went back to lay on the couch and he knocked again! It was too funny. I'll just come by and knock on his door when he is sleeping.
Then of course we made our fabulous cream cheese wontons after ward prayer and took some of them to our brothers' house for game night. Hence the phrase, "Tokie Tokie Tokie Tokie." Those guys are so funny! I love the ward though, it just feels like one big family. And we are all getting to know each other pretty well, I'm glad we have a year here.
At the current moment, I am writing this lovely blog and trying not to fall out of bed because this mattress is scooting off of the bed. It happens all the time.
But I guess I'm out.
Holla!
