I know I've probably been boring you with my stories of Family and Home, so I decided I would just tell you some interesting stuff if you find it that way..
I work on-campus as the Secretary for Computer Support in the Chemistry department (it's a long title, I know). There is always free food lurking around that place! One day a girl had called from the department office and said, "There are free doughnuts in the office if you guys want some." Well you don't have to tell me twice that's for darn sure. So I hang up the phone and look at David and say.. "Hey do you want a doughnut?" The word spread like wildfire in the office and you should have seen these boys walk out of there in a herd lookin' for those free doughnuts. I was the last one to leave the office, but I was the first one there!!! David asked me if I had ran there but I didn't!! I just know the short cut, and I walk fast! As my cousin Laura said over and over this spring break, "The quickest way to get somewhere is in a straight line!" That is so true!
Now to talk about last night.. We went up on campus to go to the Fall Fest, which was fun! We danced some and requested "Please Don't Stop the Music" which the DJ said he would play in 20 minutes because he can't stack a Rhianna song on top of a Rhianna song! How crazy is that!? What is he? A professional DJ? Meanwhile, waiting for our song we decided to go inside and get some free pizza, which was delicious. They played our song while we were inside! We were so mad! Then we went back outside to dance some more.. We left there around 10:30 and had to walk all the way home. I hate walking, I do it all the time! My feet just want a break.
After that lovely event we went to another party and stayed there for 30 minutes. It was not the best atmosphere, I admit. And I probably shouldn't have been there.
Today is a different story.. Izadora and I are going to The World of Dance performance, followed by grocery shopping, and a search for Airline tickets for us to go home this Christmas!
What an exciting day!
By the way, Alabama is playing today! ROLL TIDE ROLL!
